Considered the most powerful and optically precise binoculars of their era. The Imperial Navy developed these binoculars while working alongside firms that would later become Nikon Corp., Toshiba Corp., Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. And others. Only a handful of these optical masterpieces have survived.
